Practitioner Agreement
Last updated: July 3, 2026
This Practitioner Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of Self: Prime as a practitioner — that is, when you use the platform's practitioner workspace, directory listing, or client tools to prepare or deliver readings, sessions, or other services to clients. It is in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which also apply to you. By listing in the directory or accepting a client on Self: Prime, you agree to this Agreement.
1. Independent status
- You are an independent professional. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between you and Self: Prime.
- You are solely responsible for your own taxes, licences, registrations, insurance, and compliance with the laws that apply to your practice and location.
- You set your own services, methods, availability, and (where you charge clients directly) your own prices and refund practices. Self: Prime provides software, a directory, and client tools; it does not supervise or direct how you deliver your services.
2. Your clients' data — confidentiality and permitted use
When a client engages you through Self: Prime, the platform gives you access to certain of their personal data so you can deliver your service — this may include their name, birth data (date, time, and place of birth), generated charts and readings, session notes, messages you exchange, and any material the client chooses to share with you. You agree that:
- You will access and use a client's data only to provide the service that client has requested from you, and for no other purpose.
- You will keep client data confidential, will not disclose it to any third party without the client's consent (except as required by law), and will not sell, rent, or use it for your own marketing without the client's separate, explicit consent.
- You will apply reasonable security to any client data you export or store outside the platform, and you will delete or return it when it is no longer needed for the service or when the client or Self: Prime asks you to.
- Where data-protection law applies (for example GDPR/UK GDPR), you act as an independent controller of the client data you take off-platform and are responsible for your own compliance, including handling the client's data-subject requests that relate to your own records.
- You will not attempt to access data of users who are not your clients, or to re-identify, scrape, or bulk-export platform data.
3. Professional conduct
- You will treat clients respectfully and honestly and will not make false, misleading, or guaranteed-outcome claims about your services.
- You will not present readings or guidance as medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice, and you will direct clients to qualified professionals where their needs call for it.
- You will comply with the platform's brand and content rules, including that "Human Design" and related terms are used descriptively only and that you do not imply certification, affiliation, or endorsement by Self: Prime or by any third-party organisation unless it is true and documented.
- You will not use the platform to harass, exploit, or discriminate against clients, or to deliver services to anyone under 16.
4. Payments
- While the practitioner beta is offered, an eligible new practitioner account receives 60 days of complimentary practitioner access without a payment method. The access expires on the date shown in the account and does not automatically create a paid subscription or charge.
- Your subscription to the practitioner workspace is billed as described at checkout and in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- Where you charge clients directly (for example through your own booking or payment arrangements), that transaction is between you and the client. You are responsible for delivering the service, for your own invoicing and taxes, and for any refunds you offer.
5. Responsibility and liability
- You are solely responsible for the services, guidance, and deliverables you provide to your clients. Self: Prime is a tool and a directory; it does not review, endorse, or take responsibility for the advice you give.
- To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Self: Prime harmless from claims arising out of your services, your use of client data, or your breach of this Agreement.
- Self: Prime's liability to you is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
6. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the practitioner features at any time. We may suspend or remove a practitioner listing or account that breaches this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or applicable law, or that generates credible client complaints. On termination, your obligations of confidentiality and your duties regarding client data survive.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this Agreement and will notify listed practitioners of material changes. Continued use of the practitioner features after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@selfprime.net.
